A Little Bit About Us!

Inniscarra Christmas Tree Farm is Family run and owned business. We are horticulturists by profession and organic tillage Farmers by family background so it seemed like a great fit to put the two together and start growing Christmas trees. Our Christmas Tree farm is nestled in the Lee Valley less than 9km from Cork city which makes it an ideal location for people to come direct to a farm to get their tree . In 2012 we started preparing the fields for the first plantation of saplings to be planted in 2013 and we have planted new saplings every year since. We grow two varieties of Christmas Tree, the beautifully scented and strong branched blue/green Noble Fir and the Nordman Fir,  a beautiful evenly branched shapely tree with lush green colour foliage and lovely fragrance. All our trees are non-shed premium Christmas Trees.

We joined the Irish Christmas Tree Growers association and through this and other resources we have developed our knowledge and skills to produce the best quality trees for our customers.

It is a long wait until you get your first few trees ready for sale (between 8 and 10 years typically) but that gives plenty time to perfect your craft. We started building sheds and setting up the yard ready for the public in 2018 and had our first sales in 2019.  We had a great first sales season and the support from the locality was fantastic. The positive feedback we got reassured us that we have great quality Trees and we were providing a very welcoming family experience with a real Christmas feeling.

The whole family is already fully involved in helping in loads of different ways from the tots to the teens. We are excited and looking forward to a bright future ahead and hopefully providing a great experience and beautiful trees to our customers.
